Venezuela takes the lead
Venezuela is gaining a lead in South America, in large part of flat-out ignoring pressure from various Bloomberg organisations. They have announced their new plan for favourable regulation for vaping and other tobacco harm reduction harm products.
Venezuela is set to become the first Latin American country to obtain this kind of legislation of the marketing of e-cigarettes, carving a legal path for other potential positive regulations in other regions.
The Official Gazette of the Ministry of Health states it will be conducting a consultation with the intent of changing legislation, making it a fairer playing field and opening up the market for legal sales.
This is a fantastic move for the future of vaping, hopefully we’ll see other countries start to wake up and follow suit, as well as the science.
