Dutch Flavour Ban Shot Down
The inquiry of the proposed Dutch flavour ban saw the largest number of responses ever recorded, and it found that an overwhelming majority of Dutch people do not support this absurd proposed flavour ban.
Of the over 750 submissions on the offiical website, it found that 98% opposed the ban.
Almost 75% of submissions stated smoking cessation as a reason not to ban flavours.
Now this is definitely a positive sign, but the fight is far from over. It'll take a lot of pressure from the public to ensure policy-makers don't push this ban through at a later date.
